Collaborative Leadership

Collaborative Leadership introduces a partnership with LifeWay and Wildworks™ whose primary goal is to provide church leadership teams with a proven and effective process for group decision-making. Collaborative Leadership is a facilitator led process designed to help church leaders experience the conversations needed to accomplish the results desired.


If you are interested in becoming a certified Collaborative Leadership facilitator, consider attending one of our upcoming open training sessions. The dates are:

Church Strategy Session Kit

Session purpose: Church leaders will build an understanding of the existing church vision and develop a strategy to carry out that vision.

Outcomes and deliverables from this session include:

  • Develop a strategy to achieve the vision
  • Alignment of existing ministries with the strategy
  • Discovery of new ministries or opportunities
  • Alignment of staff and leaders around a common strategy to implement the vision
  • Action steps to implement the strategy
  • Improved understanding by the participants of the vision

Budget Preparation Session Kit

Session purpose: Church leaders will build alignment of church vision, ministry strategies, and begin the process for budget development.

Outcomes and deliverables from this session include:

  • Alignement of staff and key church leaders around the vision and ministry strategies
  • Strategic actions to improve giving
  • Budget communication action steps
  • Improved understanding of the church's vision and financial status
  • Improved alignment of strategy and spending
  • Discovery of new sources of income

Member Involvement Session Kit

Session purpose: Church leaders will explore ways to communicate ministry needs to members and develop simple processes for connecting members to the needs.
 

Outcomes and deliverables from this session include:

  • Broader understanding of church ministries and community needs
  • Strategy to help members discover spiritual gifts and explore ways special interests and personal skills can be effectively used in ministry
  • Actoin steps to connect members to ministries where their spiritual gifts, special interests and personal skills can achieve maximum utilization
  • Strategy to equip members for ministry

Community Impactt Session Kit

Session purpose: The purpose of this session is to help church leaders explore community needs and develop a strategy to better impact those needs. 

Outcomes and deliverables from this session include:
 
  • Discovery of community needs and existing ministries meeting those needs
  • Description of how the church strategy applies to commnity needs
  • A mind-set of community Impact in church leaders
  • Recommendations of potential partnerships for improved community impact
  • Action steps for connecting church members to specific needs
  • Greater community impact and improved church-community relationships
